On June 6, 2024, the California Coastal Conservancy awarded a $500,000 grant to the Marin Open Space Trust (MOST) to aid in the acquisition of the Wall Property. This funding will support efforts to protect, restore, and enhance natural resources, wildlife habitat, open space, California Native American tribal cultural resources, and compatible public access.
Next steps
MOST is working on a grant application to the Marin County Board of Supervisors for a $1 million Measure A grant. On June 12, 2024, Mayor Coler sent a letter to the Marin County Board of Supervisors for support of this grant, read the letter.
