Fairfax Town Council Appoints Chance Cutrano as Mayor and Reorganizes

At its December 7, 2022 regular meeting, the Town Council reorganized as follows: Mayor Chance Cutrano, Vice Mayor Barbara Coler, and Councilmembers Bruce Ackerman, Stephanie Hellman, and Lisel Blash. The Council bid a fond farewell to former Councilmember Renee Goddard and welcomed new Councilmember Lisel Blash.

Town Council recognizes Native American Heritage Month

This month, the Town Council recognizes Native American Heritage Month. Several parks and museums in Marin tell the story of native peoples of the region whose history stretches back in time for thousands of years. Read the Proclamation. 

Town of Fairfax upcoming office closures

The Town’s administrative offices in Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25. In December, administrative offices will be closed from Friday, December 23, 2022 through Monday, January 2, 2023. 24-hour operations will remain in effect for the Police and Fire Departments.
