At the October 16 Town Council Meeting, the Town of Fairfax proudly celebrated a milestone—10 years of Age-Friendly Fairfax! This program has been instrumental in creating an inclusive, supportive community that nurtures healthy and active aging for all residents. Over the years, Fairfax has championed initiatives that enhance public spaces, support affordable housing options, offer free recreation programs, and foster intergenerational connections.
To mark this special anniversary, the Town presented a proclamation recognizing Age-Friendly Fairfax’s contributions and reaffirming its commitment to promoting age-friendly initiatives.
