Fairfax has a long and unique history with cannabis, supporting safe and responsible access while maintaining local oversight. The Town allows up to two commercial cannabis businesses to operate under strict regulatory guidelines.

Current Regulations
- Only two cannabis business permits are allowed at any given time.

- Permits are valid for 24 months and must be renewed prior to expiration.
Past Commercial Cannabis Application Process

- The Town is now reopening the application process for up to two businesses.
