LiveScan

Live Scan fingerprinting is the technique and technology to digitally scan fingerprints and transmit them electronically to the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation for background checks. For more information, visit the DOJ website https://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints.

Applicants must get a BCIA 8016 form from the agency requesting the background check. That agency is responsible for completing and providing you with specific information needed to complete the LiveScan submission. Key items that are required on the form are the ORI code; Application Type, Mail Code, and Billing Number. We cannot complete the fingerprint process unless you have this information listed on the BCIA form. Fill in the rest of the information, and bring the form to your appointment.

Our service fee is $20. Bring a valid Photo ID. We accept cash, checks, debit and Visa or MasterCard. Additional fees for the service from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigations increases LiveScan costs depending upon the level of service of the request.

Ink Fingerprints
Ink fingerprints must be done on FD-258 cards, or other cards provided by the requesting agency. Letter quality paper will not work with our system for ink prints. We do not provide fingerprint cards. Cards MUST be filled out in Black Ink. Do NOT sign the cards prior to your appointment.

Our service fee is $25. Bring a valid Photo ID. We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard – debit and credit.
