Food Pantry
The Fairfax Volunteers have parntered with the Town, the Marin/San Francisco Food Bank and the Fairfax Community Church to provide a Farmers Market style food bank for the community. The Food Bank will provide free groceries including fresh produce, dry goods and USDA surplus foods.
The Food Pantry will be OPEN during the Shelter in Place
Please be advised that because of the COVID 19 virus, customers will receive food in pre-bagged fashion, not "Famers" Market style. We ask that people maintain a safe 6 foot distance from others and that you pick up your bags quickly and then depart. There should be NO sharing or trading of food. If you receive items that you do not want, we ask that you dispose of them off site. Be well and wash your hands!
When: Every Saturday
7:15 a.m. Unload truck
8:30-10:30 a.m. Food pick up
10:30-11 a.m. Close down
Help is needed in each shift - sign up below to volunteer or just show up - many hands make light work!
