The Fairfax Festival and Ecofest is back for its 45th year, bringing the community together to celebrate music, art, and eco-friendly living. Known as one of the top music festivals in the region, this event attracts thousands to downtown Fairfax each year.
What makes the Fairfax Festival special? It’s more than just a party – it’s a community-driven, volunteer-organized celebration. The festival is net-zero, financially independent, and not-for-profit, ensuring it remains a FREE event for everyone. While the Town of Fairfax supports the festival, it does not profit from it. Instead, we collaborate with local non-profits and groups to raise funds for charity, giving back to the community that makes it all possible.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious food and beverages, organic wine, and artisan vendors. With three music stages, a flea market, Ecofest activities, and plenty of fun for kids on the ball field, there’s something for everyone at the Fairfax Festival.
Festivities schedule
