Fairfax Police Department keeps a record of all activities performed by officers during each month and posts the total monthly information here.

Statistics listed here is computerized captured data on each “initial” incident, be it a call for service or officer initiated activity.  Any follow-up or additional work on that “initial” incident is not captured as a new or separate call for service.  While one call for service can be just that, most require multiple officer responses or follow-ups that are only captured on the “initial” call for service.  The patrol statistics listed should not be used as an exact gauge of police personnel activity and workload.
