The Fairfax Parks and Recreation Commission (PARC) is looking for nominations for the Citizen of the Year Award. We invite all residents to nominate deserving individuals who have made significant contributions to our community.
Nomination Details
- Nomination Period: Open from July 29 through August 30
- How to Nominate: Submit your nominations online
- Selection Process: After the nomination period closes, PARC will review all submissions at their September 9 meeting and recommend three nominees to a Council subcommittee comprised of the Mayor and Vice Mayor. This subcommittee will then select a recipient to receive the Citizen of the Year Award.
The award recipients will be honored at the October 16 Council meeting, where their dedication and contributions will be celebrated by the entire community.
