September 4, 2024 Highlights

Adopt a Resolution to Accept an Assignment from Marin Open Space Trust (“MOST”) of All Rights, Duties and Obligations Under a Purchase and Sale Agreement Between MOST and the Owner of the Vacant Property Commonly Known as the Wall Property

The Town Council voted to adopt this Resolution, accepting assignment from MOST for the purchase of 100-acre Wall Property with the assistance of funds from various sources, ensuring it remains as open space.

Fire Station 21 Construction Upgrades

The Town Council heard a presentation from Ross Valley Fire Department Chief Dan Mahoney regarding various options for the Council to discuss regarding construction at Fire Station 21.

Rejecting Bids for 2024 Slurry Seal Project

The Town Council has decided to reject all bids for the 2024 Slurry Seal Project due to the lowest bid of $937,000 significantly exceeding the estimated budget of $550,000. The project will be value engineered and re-bid, with work to be scheduled in Spring or Summer of 2025.

103 Rocca Drive Roadway Stabilization and Retaining Wall project

The Town Council authorized the Town Manager to execute a contract with RWR Construction, Inc. for the 103 Rocca Drive Roadway Stabilization and Retaining Wall project, with a total project cost of up to $258,107, including a 10% contingency. This is slightly over the estimated budget of $250,000. This project addresses ongoing slope movement near 103 Rocca Drive, with the goal of completing the work before the winter season.
