On Tuesday, March 17, the Town Council unanimously ratified a Proclamation of the Existence of a Local Emergency in repose to the spread of the Coronavirus and the County Public Health Order to shelter in Place. The proclamation of local emergency will mobilize resources, accelerate emergency planning, streamline staffing, and allow for future reimbursement by the state and federal governments.
