On August 29, the Town welcomed Loren Umbertis as its new Public Works Director. Mr. Umbertis is highly recommended and brings a wealth of practical project management and construction experience to Fairfax. He is adept at collaborating across departments, agencies, contractors, and working with the public to complete public works projects. Most recently, he worked for the City of Sausalito Department of Public Works for 11 years.
A resolution ratifying the appointment of Mr. Umbertis as the new Public Works Director was adopted at the August 3, 2022 town council meeting.
